  • Product Description

    Bent tempered glass is a safety glass made by heating ordinary glass to the softening point and bending into molding, and then quenching and tempering. It has both the aesthetics of curved surface shape and high strength properties.

     

    Features

    ◆ High security

    (1) Breaking is harmless: When broken by external force, honeycomb-shaped obtuse angular

    particles are formed to avoid sharp fragments from hurting people.

    (2) Explosion-proof and penetration-proof: Multi-layer composite structures (such as glue and hollow) can further improve impact resistance and are suitable for high-risk places.

     

    ◆ Excellent mechanical properties

    (1) Strength multiplication: The impact strength is 4-5 times that of ordinary glass, the bending strength is 3-5 times higher, and the wind pressure resistance is better than that of flat tempered glass.

    (2) Deformation resistance: The surface compressive stress layer formed by tempering treatment can effectively resist external deformation.

     

    ◆ Excellent thermal stability

    It can withstand the sudden change in temperature difference of 200–300℃ (ordinary glass is only 70–100℃), and is suitable for high temperature difference environments such as lighting ceilings and car windows.

     

    ◆ Surface adaptability and aesthetics

    (1) Flexible shape: supports singles, hyperbolics and irregular surfaces (such as a small radius of 11mm right angle), meeting the needs of special shape design.

    (2) Seamless and smooth: the curved surface has no connection port, natural lines, enhancing the overall sense of the building.

     

    ◆ Weather resistance and easy maintenance

    The surface is scratch-resistant, acid-alkali corrosion resistant, and adapts to harsh outdoor environments; after coating, it has both heat insulation, sound insulation (noise reduction of 38 decibels) and ultraviolet protection functions.

    (1) Facade and curtain wall

    Curved curtain wall: Hyperbolic glass is used in landmark buildings (such as rotating restaurants, curved exterior walls), enhancing the visual fluency.

    Lighting ceiling: Large venue dome, taking into account both light transmission and wind and snow load resistance.

     

    (2) Indoor space

    Partitions and guardrails: curved glass partitions, stair handrails, safe and expanding the sense of space.

    Sightseeing elevator: panoramic curved car, intensity meets frequent vibration environment.

     

    ◆ Transportation

    (1) Automobile/rail transit: sunroof, side window (bending tempering + glued glue), impact-resistant and splash-resistant.

    (2) Ship portholes: resistant to salt spray corrosion and meet navigation safety standards.

     

    ◆ Furniture and appliances

    (1) Shower room/showcase: B-shaped bend (minimum radius 450mm) is used for corner shower room and curved display cabinet.

    (2) Electronic window: Right angle small radius (11mm) is applied to computer chassis and medical equipment panel.
